LDN were appointed jointly with Associated Architects of Birmingham on proposals for the re-development of the Hippodrome. The project created new accommodation for the Theatre Birmingham Royal Ballet and DanceXchange. It included the complete re-building of the front of house and new get-in and scene dock. Dance studios, dressing rooms, hospitality spaces and a dance injury centre are designed around an atrium space which offers natural ventilation wherever it is practicable.
