The nation’s stock of historic buildings is a valuable cultural and environmental asset that is best preserved, through conservation, intervention and transformation, by being put to good use. LDN believes that conservation is a creative process, in which history must be made as well as respected, and that the best old buildings have within them the seeds of their future as well as evidence of their past.
