LDN was been appointed by the Vestry of St John’s Church of the Evangelist to develop a vision for the future which will help the church extend its mission. The church is a prominent Edinburgh landmark with a unique setting that offers a tranquil respite from the busy city life going on around it. The brief for the project necessitates a clear understanding of the potential for development within this sensitive context and an architectural solution which will better integrate existing uses and make new uses possible.
