Taymouth Castle

Taymouth Castle Conservation Plan

Taymouth Castle is arguably the grandest Gothic Revival country house in the country. Formerly the seat of the Breadalbanes, it was designed by a who’s who of leading architects and designers including the Elliot brothers, William Atkinson, James Gillespie Graham and AWN Pugin. LDN prepared a conservation plan that reconciled the needs of a hotel developer with the concerns of Historic Scotland.
