Urquhart Castle Visitor Centre 1 2 3
Sitting on the edge of Loch Ness, the ruins of the castle are among Scotland’s most picturesque and visually sensitive. LDN was asked to bring an extensive level of accommodation to the site – including a café, auditorium, shop, toilets and administration spaces – with minimal visual impact from its landward side of the site. This was achieved with grace and ingenuity.
