The Moray College Learning Resource Centre at the UHI campus in Elgin brings together the needs of a traditional print-based library and new information technology based facilities. LDN’s elegant design contains a mixture of open plan and secluded study areas and its staightforward detailing and energy efficient environmental systems help ensure that the new building provides high quality yet cost effective facilities with minimum maintenance requirements. The centre is a key component of the College’s future campus redevelopment strategy and LDN was responsible for preparing the masterplan which underpins it.
