The A Listed Assembly Rooms, dating from the late 18th Century, on Edinburgh’s George Street is a much-loved multi-purpose events venue situated at the heart of Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site and a focal point of the International Fringe Festival.
LDN Architects were responsible for preparing a Conservation Plan for the building. The study analysed the building’s history, condition and significance and was used to inform proposals for the redevelopment of the building, also prepared by LDN.
