New Starters journal

Welcoming some new faces to our Edinburgh & Inverness offices!

We are pleased to have six new talented team members join our Edinburgh office. In sequence of arrival over the past few months, we have welcomed;

 

Connor Downie:

Having previously worked as a Part 1 in LDN’s Inverness office, Connor has joined the Edinburgh office as a Part 2 Assistant following the completion of his Masters of Architecture at Robert Gordon University. Outside the office, Connor is a keen sports fan and a persevering golfer.

 

Sophie Lewis-Ward:

Sophie graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2023 with a Masters of Architecture and has been working as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant at LDN since July. Outside of the office, Sophie is a keen swimmer and foodie, often travelling to experience different cultures in and out of the UK.

 

Melisa Hamzaoglu:

Melisa recently completed her MA in Architecture at The University of Edinburgh and joined LDN as a Part I Architectural Assistant in September. Aside from architecture, Melisa is particularly interested in painting city and landscapes, discovering new places, and enjoying Scotland’s nature through hikes during her weekends.

 

 

 

 

Mhairi Dickie:

Mhairi recently completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh and has been working as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant since September. With a passion for history and historic structures, Mhairi enjoys travelling and researching, seeking out places and topics with rich and captivating stories to tell.

 

Kyle Scott:

Having previously worked at LDN, Kyle has rejoined the Edinburgh office as an Architect following a few months away. Outside of the office, Kyle is a keen archer and will often be found training for his next competition.

 

Isabella Howey:

Isabella graduated from Leeds Arts University in 2019 with a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design and has since taken the time to travel, explore her career and finally land in her favourite city of Edinburgh, recently joining LDN as their new Digital Content & Bid Coordinator.

 

In sequence of arrival to our Inverness office, we welcome;

 

Finlay McCallum:

Finlay is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant from Wester Ross, on his placement year at the University of Dundee. Outside of work Finlay is a keen sailor and watercolourist.

 

Karolina Przynarowska:

Karolina joined LDN in September 2023 as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant following her graduation from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. In her free time, Karolina enjoys climbing, crocheting and small DIY projects.
