Portsoy and Cullen 2017

The past few days have seen LDN take a trip up to the Banffshire coast, to see completed projects the Cullen Sea School and Portsoy Bunk House (and spend a night or two in the latter). The trip formed a CPD event and provided an opportunity for some of us to see these projects in the flesh for the first time. It was also a bittersweet couple of days as they marked a retirement celebration for departing partner Tom Duff, who is leaving us at the end of 2017 after 40 years with the practice. Tom worked on the Cullen Sea School and was the partner responsible for the rescue and refurbishment of the derelict buildings at Back Green, Portsoy, and their transformation into a four-star bunkhouse, so a tour of these buildings seemed the perfect way to bid him a fond farewell.
