This project involved major demolition to allow the introduction of a new courtroom, generous foyer spaces, offices and toilets - without disturbing the day to day business of the existing courtroom. Conceptually, the new work sets modern technologies in stonework and glass alongside those of Victorian times whilst deferring to its host by the manipulation of massing.
